The upcoming Netflix romantic comedy series titled “Too Much,” featuring Lena Dunham, has recently announced the addition of five new cast members: Jessica Alba, Rita Ora, Andrew Scott, Kit Harington, and Jennifer Saunders.
In addition to the latest news updates, Netflix unveiled a trailer for the upcoming show titled “Too Much”. The story revolves around Megan Stalter’s character, Jessica, a New York-based workaholic in her mid-thirties. After experiencing a heartbreaking relationship that she believed was forever, Jessica starts to distance herself from everyone she knows. Her actions leave a trail of chaos across the city, leading her to consider a fresh start in London, emulating the solitary lifestyle of the Bronte sisters. However, her plans for a quiet life are disrupted when she encounters Felix (played by Will Sharpe), who seems to be a series of warning signs. Despite the complications he brings, Jessica finds herself unable to ignore their unique bond, which only serves to create more issues in her already complex life.
In the preview, we see Jessica forcefully entering her former lover’s (Michael Zegen) home, shared with his new companion (Emily Ratajkowski), during the dead of night, angrily exclaiming, “Leaving me is the most hurtful thing anyone has ever done.” Following this, she relocates to London and encounters Felix while he’s performing at a pub. Upon hearing about her ex, he inquires, “Should I eliminate them?” To which Jessica responds, “Yes, I want you to decapitate them and reattach their heads.” Their relationship unfolds with numerous disagreements as depicted throughout the trailer.
In addition to Stalter, Sharpe, Zegen, Ratajkowski, and the recently added star guests, the cast is composed of Janicza Bravo, Richard E. Grant, Leo Reich, Daisy Bevan, Adele Exarchopoulos, Dean-Charles Chapman, Rita Wilson, Naomi Watts, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Andrew Rannells, Rhea Perlman, Stephen Fry, Kaori Momoi, and Adwoa Aboah.
