This move strengthens ADN’s collection of high-quality global content offerings.
This partnership supports Tencent Video’s larger goal of making animation a driving force for their global expansion. They are actively seeking out international collaborators in line with their strategic plan to share premium Chinese animations with a broader public.
Over a span of three years, this series has been carefully crafted, seamlessly blending dynamic action sequences with captivating storytelling. It finds its roots in the rich historical context of the Sui and Tang dynasties. Jointly produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures and Coloured Pencil Animation, “Blades of the Guardians” aspires to harmoniously blend authentic historic elements with contemporary style.
