On March 31, 2025, Zotac, a well-known PC hardware manufacturer specializing in graphics cards and mini PCs, unveiled the “GAMING Fragrance Collection” as an amusing prelude to April Fool’s Day. This collection included four unique scents intended to enhance the gaming experience for users by focusing on personal olfactory appeal.

The firm highlighted that the items they referred to contain a unique mix of “caffeine, taurine, and undisclosed elements,” which are intended to maintain your energy levels while engaging in play.

Initially, it seemed like just a joke, but surprisingly, they’ve gone ahead and turned the concept into reality by bringing the product to existence.

According to a social media update, Zotac is introducing its “F5 Esports Fragrance” designed to combat mental exhaustion, enhance focus and reaction times, and align one’s senses for an edge in gaming. The added benefit? A fresh and invigorating scent throughout the gaming session.

In the initial April Fool’s post, they referred to the specific F5 variant as having a “fresh, aquatic-woody scent that stimulates the senses and potentially boosts your gaming abilities.” It was also stated that it blended “the scents of sea air, cypress, mint, and white musk.

The product you’re referring to is indeed authentic, but there have been some adjustments to its ingredient list. As per the latest information, this particular perfume now contains “prelude buddamot, rock rose, geranium as a central note, and rosemary at the base.

Additionally, the article noted the item’s aroma, comparing it to a “fresh woody scent.” However, acquiring one can be quite elusive since they appear to be exclusively offered in social media giveaways and are not up for sale.
