Fighting Game Invincible VS Announced With A Trailer Full Of Gory Superhero Battles

In “Invincible,” superheroes engage in intense, over-the-top fights that can get quite messy, and starting in 2026, you’ll have the chance to step into the arena yourself with Invincible VS – a fighting game inspired by the comic book series and its animated version.

Up in the sky, Skybound Games unveiled their new game title during the Xbox Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest 2025. For a sneak peek, you can watch the trailer right here beneath.

Originates from author Robert Kirkman, famed for The Walking Dead comic books, comes the series Invincible, which offers a grim and gloomy perspective on the traditional superhero genre, much like its story about survivors in a zombie apocalypse. This series revolves around Mark Grayson, a young superhero grappling with his role in life as he wrestles under the weight of his father’s legacy, Omni-Man—the world’s strongest hero. However, things take a turn when it is revealed that Omni-Man isn’t entirely heroic, and Mark, as Invincible, decides to challenge his father and the superhero community he is a part of.

In the Amazon animated adaptation of Invincible, J.K. Simmons takes on the role of Omni-Man and Steven Yeun portrays Mark. Based on the trailer, it seems that these two actors might be reprising their roles in the game as well. Other characters like Atom Eve, played by Gillian Jacobs in the series, and Rex Splosion, voiced by Jason Mantzoukas, are also featured in the trailer. This suggests that Invincible VS could boast a very impressive voice cast.

Invincible VS is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2026.
