Xbox ROG Ally Windows Handheld Revealed, Releases Holiday 2025

Microsoft’s Xbox brand is collaborating with Asus on a portable device running Windows, set to release holiday season 2025. This device will offer compatibility with your Game Pass library, Steam, GOG, and other PC gaming platforms. The much-anticipated handheld was unveiled during the recent Xbox Games Showcase. Dubbed as the ROG Xbox Ally, it’s expected to hit markets by late 2025, though pricing details are yet to be disclosed. Two distinct configurations for this device were also announced.

Similar to standard Asus ROG Ally handhelds, the “X” variant represents their premium model. Distinguishing itself from others, the ROG Xbox Ally X boasts a sleek black color scheme and is equipped with an advanced AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme chipset, 24GB RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD.

The standard ROG Xbox Ally sports a similar white finish as the Xbox Series S, boasting an AMD Ryzen Z2A processor, 16GB of memory, and a 512GB solid-state drive (SSD).
