The company Brainstorm Media gains the rights for the North American region for the generational drama titled “After All,” which takes place in Austin, Texas. This film features Penelope Ann Miller, known from “Carlito’s Way,” and Erika Christensen, recognized from “Will Trent.
The independent film, “Fair Haven,” directed by Kerstin Karlhuber and co-produced by Christensen, tells the story of a character portrayed by Christensen herself, named Ellen, who goes back home to look after her sick mother, played by Penelope Ann Miller, and her troubled adolescent daughter.

After acquiring “After All” from Los Angeles-based Sublimity Entertainment, Brainstorm Media has set its sights on launching the movie in the U.S. this autumn.

Erika, Penelope, and Kiara have poured their hearts into their roles, delivering moving performances that strike a chord with viewers.
The director expressed his excitement that Brainstorm Media would be releasing this movie domestically with such passion and skill.
Michelle Shwarzstein, from Brainstorm Media, commented that Kerstin Karlbuher’s second movie is rich in genuine and heartfelt family moments, beautifully depicted through a talented ensemble cast representing three generations of women.
The film ‘After All’ was brought to life by Dale Wade Davis, Kerstin Karlhuber, Tom Malloy, Joanna Zippel, Christian Sosa, and Jon Wroblewski. Erika Christensen and Penelope Ann Miller served as executive producers, while Kerry Barden and Paul Schnee took care of the casting. Pascal Combes-Knoke was the director of photography, Samuel Butler and Melody London handled the editing duties, and Kelli Scarr composed the original music.
The negotiation for the agreement was handled by Alex Peters, Vice President of Sales and Acquisitions at Brainstorm, as well as Christian Sosa from Roosevelt Film Lab.
