However, the franchise is currently enjoying a surge in popularity due to Dune Spice Wars, which evokes classic RTS productions, as well as Dune Awakening – a long-awaited survival MMO that allows players to traverse the desert planet. Some enthusiastic fans who opted for Advanced (Early) Access can already experience it, but for many, this is a bit of an exaggeration, since it appears that the game’s server infrastructure isn’t quite up to par.
