Max unveiled an initial sneak peek for “Most Wanted: Teen Hacker,” a four-episode documentary series set to air in September, which delves into the sensational criminal activities of Julius Kivimäki, a Finnish hacker who’s been labeled by the FBI as one of the globe’s most notorious cybercriminals.
Max shared a preview for “Most Wanted: Teen Hacker,” a four-part series coming in September, that tells the story of Julius Kivimäki, a Finnish hacker who the FBI considers one of the world’s most dangerous cybercriminals.
As a cinephile, I’d put it this way: In the gripping teaser, we unravel the vast array of illicit activities that started when Kivimäki was merely 15. His exploits range from hacking Elon Musk’s accounts, causing global chaos by shutting down PlayStations worldwide, and orchestrating a terrifying incident where a commercial plane had to make an emergency landing due to his manipulations, which also triggered a U.S. Air Force alert.
The Max Original show explores the criminal exploits of Aleksanteri Kivimäki, aged 27, who conducted a ten-year crime wave. His daring acts of cybercrime reached as far as orchestrating SWAT raids, such as one aimed at the residence of an FBI agent’s family.
In this version, I tried to use simpler language and reorganized the sentence structure for clarity while maintaining the original meaning.
The documentary follows the transformation of Kivimäki, from a 15-year-old bedroom-bound hacker to one of Europe‘s most sought-after criminals, leading a lavish life across the globe, until his capture at a Las Vegas casino by authorities. The series includes detailed conversations with FBI agents, SWAT team members, cybersecurity professionals, Kivimäki’s victims, prominent hackers from around the world, and Kivimäki himself, who is now serving a prison sentence.
This award-winning English documentary series was shot in various U.S. and U.K. locations. Renowned director Sami Kieksi helms the project, which he co-wrote with Joni Soila. The production company behind it is Aller Studios, a division of the Nordic media group, Aller Media Nordic.
