It’s time to grab your electric guitars and drums! Amazon Prime Video has revealed the initial images of its upcoming music drama, “The Runarounds.” This exciting new series is the creation of Jonas Pate, one of the minds behind “Outer Banks.” The eight-episode series will make its exclusive debut this fall.
“The show, titled ‘The Runarounds’, focuses on a bunch of friends from Wilmington, North Carolina who have just graduated high school. Eager to make music and chase their dreams of stardom, they create a rock band during the summer following their graduation. As they navigate love, drama, and mischief over the course of that summer, their bond as both friends and bandmates is tested. The series will also boast an original soundtrack, courtesy of ‘The Runarounds’, who were founded in 2022.”
The show features the main actors William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock, and Jesse Gollihe who are all actual musicians. Starz has extended “The BMF Documentary: Living Large, Spending Fast” for a six-episode season two. This documentary will include an exclusive chat with Terry Flenory, coinciding with the launch of “BMF’s” fourth season on June 6th. The program delves further into the authentic tales of the individuals from the Black Mafia Family who served as the basis for the scripted show.
The documentary titled ‘BMF Documentary: Fast Bucks’ delves into the true story of the Black Mafia Family (BMF), a notoriously violent drug syndicate that left its mark on American history. This gripping series chronicles the lives of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest Tee” Flenory, two brothers who battled against poverty in Detroit during the war on drugs. Rising through the dangerous underworld of the 1980s, they eventually became some of America’s most wanted drug traffickers. In the upcoming second season, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory will speak publicly about the BMF for the very first time on camera.

The entertaining cartoon show titled “Haunted Hotel” will make its debut on Netflix on September 19. Produced and overseen by Matt Roller, “Haunted Hotel” tells the story of a hardworking single mother of two who battles to manage the Undervale, a hotel that is rumored to be haunted, with her long-lost brother now residing within its walls.
The ensemble for the show “Haunted Hotel” features Eliza Coupe, Will Forte, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson. Roller will assume the role of executive producer, working alongside Chris McKenna, Dan Harmon, and Steven Levy. Erica Hayes will take charge as the supervising director.

The spy-thriller series titled ‘Butterfly,’ starring and co-produced by Daniel Dae Kim, will be released in its entirety on Wednesday, August 13 on Amazon Prime Video. Adapted from the graphic novel series by Arash Amel published by Boom! Studios, ‘Butterfly’ features Daniel Dae Kim alongside regular cast members Reina Hardesty, Piper Perabo, and Louis Landau.
As per the official summary, the upcoming espionage thriller focuses on David Jung, a mysterious, unpredictable ex-US intelligence officer residing in South Korea. His life is shattered when the repercussions of a difficult decision from his past return to torment him. He’s chased by Rebecca (Hardesty), a ruthless, psychopathic agent tasked with eliminating him, and Caddis, the ominous spy agency she serves.
Kim expressed that ‘Butterfly’ is the fulfillment of a cherished ambition to unite American and Korean narrators, crafting a production that links two cultures which hold deep personal significance for him. Ken Woodruff takes on the role of showrunner and co-creator in this adaptation, collaborating with author Steph Cha. Kitao Sakurai is responsible for directing the initial two episodes of the series.

In a neighboring town, ex-police officer Tim Jamieson, who’s now haunted by his past (played by Ben Barnes), seeks tranquility to begin anew. However, the serenity won’t endure, as Tim’s and Luke’s lives are fated to intersect.
