Yet, unlike some, Ana de Armas, the film’s leading actress, isn’t aiming to shatter records or engage in competition with others. This humble approach mirrors that of her future co-star, Tom Cruise, as well.
The actor known for his roles in the “Mission: Impossible” series is not just famous for that, but also a passionate movie enthusiast. Tom Cruise has publicly expressed his admiration for various films, and recently praised the animated feature “Ballerina”. The actress playing the lead role in “Ballerina”, Ana de Armas, shared her joy about having him as a supporter.
The actor from Knives Out expressed that he is a fan of all films. He has a keen interest in seeing the film industry prosper and encourages people to visit cinemas. Since we’ve been collaborating, he had the opportunity to watch Ballerina and genuinely enjoyed it. He was particularly fond of the John Wick series as well.

In May, Cruise expressed his backing for the movie “Ballerina”. He stated, “[I] love the John Wick franchise and what they accomplish. I understand the effort required to craft such narratives, and now with Ballerina featuring Ana, it’s truly impressive.
In the chilling horror movie titled “Deeper“, stars Cruise and de Armas will embark on a thrilling journey as they explore an uncharted ocean trench. However, their expedition takes a horrifying turn when they stumble upon a shocking discovery within its depths.
Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise Have One Big Thing in Common
Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise share a significant trait – they both immerse themselves deeply in action sequences or stunts, particularly in the Mission: Impossible series. However, de Armas seems to be closing the gap on Cruise’s experience.
She confidently shared, “Aside from some extremely risky falls, collisions, or impacts against walls, or a handful of fire-related stunts, I participated in everything else. I chose to be involved because I craved the experience. It’s what drew me to the film. That’s my part. My presence isn’t limited to my face and a few dialogue parts. Training for this role was incredibly empowering. I could sense myself growing more proficient and capable. And, of course, I wanted that mastery to be captured on camera. I wanted the viewers to see my skills in the action sequences.
There’s no information available about whether Tom Cruise and Thandie Newton performed stunts together in the movie “Deeper“. Yet, it’s possible that they might team up for such activities in the future.
