Based in Paris, The Party Film Sales has secured significant agreements for “Nino,” a drama directed by Pauline Loquès featuring up-and-coming Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin (known for his role in “Lurker”), and Valéry Carnoy’s film “Wild Foxes” starring Samuel Kircher.
After its successful debut at Cannes’ Critics Week and winning both the Rising Star Award for Theo Pellerin and the Valbonne Audience Award, ‘Nino’ was acquired by Curzon. This critically-acclaimed film has since been distributed to various regions: Surtsey for Spain, Distri 7 for Benelux, K-Films for Canada, Andrews Film for Taiwan, Nachshon Film for Israel, Falcon PT for Indonesia, and Bookmyshow for India.
The movie features Pellerin playing a man in his youth, seeking to reconnect with the world and himself on the bustling streets of Paris, as advised by doctors. This coming-of-age story, titled “Nino”, is the first full-length film from director Loquès, who previously worked on the short film “La vie de jeune fille”. The ensemble includes William Lebghil, Salomé Dewaels, and Jeanne Balibar. “Nino” is produced by Sandra da Fonseca at Blue Monday Productions.

As a movie reviewer, I recently had the pleasure of attending the premiere of “Wild Foxes” at Cannes’ Directors Fortnight. This captivating film took home the Label Europa Cinemas and SACD Coup de Cœur Award, and has since been acquired by Conic for distribution in the U.K. and Ireland.
The story unfolds within the walls of a prestigious sports boarding school, where we follow the journey of a gifted young boxer who miraculously survives a near-fatal accident, all thanks to his devoted best friend. The talented cast includes Fayçal Anaflous, Jef Jacobs, Anna Heckel, Jean-Baptiste Durand, Hassane Alili, and Salahdine El Garchi.
I highly recommend adding “Wild Foxes” to your must-watch list – it’s a heartwarming tale of friendship, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit.
The movie was additionally distributed in Germany by Grandfilm, Canada by Maison 4:3, China by Hugoeast, Indonesia by Falcon PT, and Denmark by OST For Paradis. “Wild Foxes” is co-produced by Heliotronic and Les Films du Poisson.
