In contrast to certain popular shows that make fans wait three years between seasons, Apple TV+ is expediting the return of one of its series, with the fifth season premiere coming just under a year after the fourth ended. According to reports, the critically acclaimed show, boasting a near-perfect 98% Rotten Tomatoes score, will make its comeback on Sept 24, following its final episode in October 2024.
On September 24th, there will be a double premiere of episodes for the Emmy-winning series starring Gary Oldman, exclusively on Apple TV+. Additionally, Apple TV+ has released several sneak peeks for the upcoming fifth season, one of which includes Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed as a notable guest star for Season 5.

A Dark Spy Comedy
The ensemble cast of “Slow Horses” features Kristen Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Christopher Chung, Rosalind Eleazar, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce, and Amiee-Ffion Edwards. This gripping blend of comedy and spy thriller revolves around a troupe of ineffective British intelligence operatives stationed at MI5’s Slough House. Gary Oldman portrays Jackson Lamb, the head of this band of spies.
The fifth installment of the series is created by See-Saw Films especially for Apple TV+, and it has a team of executive producers which includes Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Adam Randall, Gail Mutrux, Douglas Urbanski, and Oldman. This season is adapted from Mick Herron’s 2018 novel titled “London Rules“.
Season 5 Teased By Show’s Star

Ted Lasso Star Will Be Featured in The Upcoming Slow Horses Season
As the follower, I can’t reveal who Mohammed will be playing in Slow Horses, but his exceptional portrayal of Nathan Shelley from … landed him not one, but two Emmy nominations – one in 2021 and another in 2022.
The popular series Ted Lasso, spearheaded by Jason Sudeikis, is slated for its fourth installment starting in July.
