Splitgate 2 Gets 1.0 Release This Week, “Massive Surprise” Teased For SGF

1047 Games has shared that they are officially taking Splitgate 2 out of beta this week, with a full launch set for June 6th. This game will be available for PC players through Steam, the Windows Store, and Epic Games Store. Additionally, it will be playable on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 starting from the same day.

Despite some details yet to be unveiled, 1047 Games has announced that the main part of their game will be disclosed when it launches on June 6th. Additionally, they’re hinting at a “huge revelation” for the Summer Game Fest live stream event, which coincidentally is also scheduled for June 6th.

Although the official version 1.0 of Splitgate 2 is yet to come in a few days, the ongoing open beta is currently available for gamers. Those who purchase the Beta Battlepass can begin accumulating items immediately. Notably, the progress made during this phase will not be erased upon the launch of version 1.0.

The newly announced game, Splitgate 2, is a follow-up to last year’s Splitgate, and it represents the pinnacle of the developers’ ambition for where they envision this series could evolve.

For Summer Game Fest, the event guarantees significant updates and unveilings that go beyond what’s planned for Splitgate 2. It’s just one of several upcoming summer gaming events, so keep an eye out for TopMob’s comprehensive list detailing all the summer gaming shows and their viewing options.
