Pierluigi Gazzolo, a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in Latin America’s emerging Over-The-Top (OTT) industry, either at ViacomCBS or TelevisaUnivision’s ViX, has been chosen to serve on the board of directors for Secuoya Content Group, a prominent Spanish media company.
With a 30-year history of successful leadership driving expansion at prominent corporations, in his latest position as CEO of TelevisaUnivision’s platform ViX, Gazzolo played a key role in its launch and rapid growth, making it the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service.
Apart from that, he’s been a member of various global corporations’ boards, including Sky Media, Seoul Broadcasting System, and Rainbow SRL. He’s provided valuable guidance on strategic alliances and global growth initiatives.

In his early days, the executive kicked off his professional journey at MTV Networks Latin America, swiftly climbing up the ranks into prominent leadership roles. With Gazzolo’s recent induction as a board member, Secuoya Content Group underscores its dedication to maintaining top-notch corporate governance and a forward-thinking strategy centered on long-term growth and global expansion, as stated in a press release on Tuesday.
