Minecraft And MLB Team Up For Baseball-Themed Fan Caves

Back in the early part of this year, I was thrilled to see the Los Angeles Chargers reveal their future schedule for 2025-2026 right on Minecraft. Now, it seems that Minecraft is shifting its focus from football to the heart of American sports with a fresh alliance with Major League Baseball! This partnership between Minecraft and MLB has given birth to the MLB Fan Cave, an exciting new addition to the game where players can customize their Minecraft homes using merchandise from all 30 teams in the league. To clarify, you’ll find some MLB-inspired merchandise such as team jerseys, banners, trophies, and various in-game items. The MLB Fan Cave was developed by Pathway Studios, who also shared a brief teaser video showcasing the add-on.

Elsewhere, there have been some intriguing developments. For instance, a modder successfully integrated elements from Minecraft into Super Mario 64 using a functional modification for the original Nintendo 64 console. Additionally, Lego has introduced four new Minecraft-themed sets, including one replicating a giant Creeper. Notably, two apes at the Ape Cognition & Conservation Initiative in Iowa have been trained to play Minecraft.
