Notably, the renowned streamer Asmongold has taken a unique step by becoming part of Team Kick, rather than the typical joining of forces. Here’s an outline of his unconventional strategy for his premiere on Mixer, Twitch’s main competitor.
On June 1, 2025, Kick officially welcomed Asmongold into their ranks, a move that’s typically accompanied by significant compensation and an element of exclusivity, much like when we’ve seen similar announcements for xQc, Amouranth, and others in the past.
On this occasion, things are different as Bijan Tehrani, a co-founder of Kick, later explained. Contrary to some speculation, Asmongold is not bound to the platform by any exclusive deal. In reality, it’s just the opposite.
Previously this year, Asmon voiced his intention to experiment with simultaneous streaming, meaning his live feeds would simultaneously stream on numerous platforms. At the time, he stated that Twitch streams, in particular, were not particularly significant to him.
Currently, Asmongold’s strategies are being successfully implemented, with his move to Kick starting on June 2 marking the beginning of his multi-streaming project.
MULTISTREAMING BEGINS TOMORROW

Asmongold set to multistream across Kick, Twitch, more
Tomorrow marks the beginning of multistreaming, as confirmed by Asmongold following Kick’s update on their new platform, X.
Therefore, followers of this social media celebrity can enjoy viewing his streams wherever they prefer, since he’s not restricted to any specific platform. However, he will continue to appear on Twitch in the future, as there are no agreements confining him to a particular service.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve always been on the lookout for platforms that truly understand and support content creators. For years, Twitch has been building a fortress, trapping creators within its confines, according to Kick Co-Founder Tehrani. But tomorrow is a new day. The most-watched streamer globally, Asmongold, will be breaking free from that walled garden and multistreaming on Kick. There’s no exclusive deal here; he’s just joining the Kick Partner Program, which I believe is a fantastic move for both him and us, the viewers.
Under the terms of the Twitch Partnership Program, Asmongold receives half of the total earnings from his partnership, regardless of whether he continues to stream on other platforms. This arrangement is consistent with the guidelines set by Twitch.

Tehrani went on to say, “Competition is essential because it pushes platforms to reassess various issues such as unjust bans, income distributions, and excessive censorship. We’re thrilled to introduce genuine competition in the streaming industry with KPP.
It’s still undecided where else popular figure Asmon might stream, as he recently hinted at streaming on platform X, with Elon Musk even showing interest in the idea.
One thing is clear, though. Don’t expect to see him streaming live on YouTube anytime soon.
