Interestingly, her name was absent from the roster for “Avengers 5”.

Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation, it’s widely believed that Brie Larson could be featured in the upcoming movie “Avengers: Doomsday”. This assumption arises from her recent visit to Universal’s Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, where a picture she shared on Instagram hints at her involvement with Marvel. The image shows Larson standing next to artwork that incorporates Captain Marvel sketches to spell out “DANVERS”, the surname of her MCU character. Another piece of art beneath this one reads “AVENGE”.

This article continues a trend from the actress’s latest social media post hinting at a fresh professional phase. Many fans assumed this could be a reference to an upcoming project related to the Avengers, since ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is being filmed in the UK at present. However, it turned out that she was announcing her collaboration on a new cookbook instead.

In the past fortnight, we’ve seen Larson make her second social media post featuring Captain Marvel, fueling speculation about her potential return as the character. However, it’s also possible that this post, which includes an artwork of Carol Danvers, could be purely coincidental. Just a few days back, Alex Perez, an insider source, disclosed that Captain Marsden (Larson) is slated to join Sam Wilson’s Avengers team, a group that may rival the original lineup introduced in Thunderbolts. This announcement followed Jeff Sneider’s report revealing the alleged cast list for Avengers: Doomsday, which includes Captain Marsden (Larson).

It seems logical that Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, might return in the upcoming crossover movie given her significant role within the Avengers team. In “The Marvels,” Captain Marvel was last seen on a quest to find her friend Monica Rambeau, who was shown in the post-credits scene to have moved into another universe. Interestingly, this universe also features Kelsey Grammer’s X-Men character, Beast, whom we know will appear in “Avengers: Doomsday.” This connection could be the key to reintroducing Carol Danvers back into the storyline.
