The heart of Elden Ring Nightreign lies in its roguelike nature, emphasizing unpredictability. This means that every adventure could be unique, offering multiple chances for players to explore diverse experiences, thereby increasing the game’s overall play value.
Occasionally, certain events referred to as “Raids” may occur in the game. During a Raid, a powerful boss character will intrude upon your gaming world and initiate a tough battle for you to conquer. One of the hardest Raids is known as Fell Omen, where the boss from Stormveil Castle in Elden Ring, under normal circumstances, comes after your team.
Finishing the Fell Omen Raid yields a trophy, a beneficial Power boost, and a vast amount of runes. Here’s a helpful guide to master all aspects of the Fell Omen Raid within Elden Ring Nightreign.
How to Trigger the Fell Omen Raid

Speaking as a dedicated fan, let me share my experience with Elden Ring’s Nightreign: its unique roguelike design ensures every adventure offers something fresh and unpredictable, except for the specific Nightlord you select prior to embarking on your journey.
In this scenario, the Fell Omen Raid cannot be intentionally initiated. Instead, it occurs spontaneously and unexpectedly, with the exception of day 3 when you confront the Nightlord.
Based on my own adventures, the Fell Omen Raid appears to strike roughly every 5 to 10 journeys. Yet, there have been instances where I faced the raid in consecutive trips. Ultimately, everything boils down to the roll of the dice, or rather, the Random Number Generator (RNG).
Fell Omen Raid, Explained

The opening scene of the Fell Omen Raid initiates with Margit, the Fog-Shrouded Behemoth addressing you. As the screen becomes dim and misty, it’s time to brace yourself, for this signals a boss encounter. Margit will charge straight towards your position without delay.
At the start of the operation, one team member will have a red circle over them. This red marker signifies that Margit is zeroing in on this individual and is likely to attack them the most aggressively.
If the red circle is on you, here’s what I suggest: Maintain a safe space and try to divert Fell Omen’s focus with some distractions while your teammates are attacking. Once Fell Omen starts focusing on other players, that’s your cue to move in for the attack.
Apart from the red signpost, the Fell Omen Raid is as uncomplicated as they come. It’s a standard, yet incredibly tough, boss encounter with no hidden mechanics or unique conditions to fulfill. Essentially, you need to defeat Margit, The Fell Omen in combat.
Fell Omen Raid Rewards

Overcoming Margit, The Fell Omen in this attack not only bestows upon you a substantial sum of Runes, but it equally empowers your whole team with additional strength. Upon successful completion of the raid, the message “Power Acquired” will be displayed on the screen.
In the game Elden Ring Nightreign, a Power functions as a persistent boost during your playthrough. This power, acquired from a raid, will amplify your attacking strength every time you discover a new Site of Grace.
Each time you discover a fresh Site of Grace, your attack strength will be boosted. Keep in mind that previously activated Sites of Grace won’t serve this particular function.
You can tell if it’s a newly found Site of Grace if it makes a noise when approaching it.
Activating this Power will substantially boost your whole team’s strength by the end of day 3. Moreover, it introduces a fresh tactic for your journey, encouraging you to mark the Site of Graces on your travel plan.
Players will also earn the Fell Omen trophy for completing the Fell Omen Raid for the first time.
Should your entire team perish in the Fell Omen Raid, it will cause an adverse effect on the entire squad, as each member will now endure increased damage during the raid, thereby making the expedition noticeably more challenging.
