Own a Piece of David Lynch: Auction Features Iconic Memorabilia from His Films!

Have you ever dreamed of possessing a small piece of “Twin Peaks” or “Mulholland Drive”? Here’s your opportunity! Over 450 items from the late David Lynch’s collection are being sold in a live auction called The David Lynch Collection, happening on June 18, jointly hosted by Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies. The auction will be available online at Julien’s Auction’s website and also at their auction house in Gardena.

As a devoted film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that David Lynch’s personal collection includes an array of props, musical instruments, fine art, unique furniture, decor items, tools from his woodshop, and art supplies from his studio. Highlights from this exhibition will include memorabilia from “Twin Peaks,” “Mulholland Drive,” “Eraserhead,” “The Elephant Man,” and “Blue Velvet.”

Sadly, some items won’t be showcased, such as a set of four prop menus from Winkie’s Sunset Blvd. in “Mulholland Drive,” a steel guitar used in his home studio, and a vintage chenille sofa reminiscent of the one seen in “Lost Highway.”

This promises to be an unforgettable journey into the surrealistic world of one of cinema’s most visionary directors.

Additional pieces related to Lynch’s work, along with items from movies like “O Brother Where Art Thou”, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, and other films will be showcased at the Hollywood Legends auction happening on June 19 and 20.

select pieces from the auction are set to be showcased during the sold-out screening of “Blue Velvet” by Cinespia on May 31.

Catherine Williamson, Managing Director of Entertainment at Julien’s Auctions, expressed pride in presenting to the public for the first time an exceptional collection belonging to one of the most renowned filmmakers ever, David Lynch. She stated this in a released statement. This collection, filled with historical and treasured items that showcase David Lynch’s unique artistic perspective, spans from his director’s chair to his espresso machine, guitar, vinyl records, and Twin Peaks-inspired decor, all of which come directly from the home of the visionary artist whose films sparked our shared, dreamlike surrealism.
