Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate charged with rape and human trafficking by UK authorities

The social media personalities, Andrew and Tristian Tate, are currently facing multiple criminal accusations within the United Kingdom.

On May 28th, the UK’s Crown Prosecution Service made public their decision to bring forward several accusations against the two brothers, claiming they were involved in multiple instances of sexual misconduct.

38-year-old Andrew Tate, once a well-known kickboxer and now a prominent figure on the internet known for his contentious viewpoints, has been indicted on ten counts, including rape, inflicting bodily harm, human trafficking, and managing prostitution for profit. These allegations involve three different women.

Currently, Tristian, his sibling, stands accused of 11 counts linked to a single woman. The accusations against him involve rape and human trafficking.

In the year 2024, an European Arrest Warrant was issued in England, leading to the Romanian courts mandating the extradition of Andrew and Tristan Tate to the UK. But before they can be sent overseas, any pending criminal cases in Romania must be resolved first.

In July of 2024, following their victory in a court case that lifted travel restrictions, Andrew and Tristan Tate departed Romania for Florida. However, their arrival sparked displeasure from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who publicly stated that the two individuals were not invited to the state.

On December 29, 2022, Andrew and Tristan Tate, together with two other individuals, were taken into custody as the Romanian authorities looked into accusations of sexual misconduct and exploitation against them.
