YouTuber Colby Brock officially cancer-free after two grueling years of treatment

As a gamer speaking for myself, I’m thrilled to announce that after a tough two-year battle, I’ve triumphantly emerged victorious over cancer! That’s right, yours truly, Colby Brock from the internet-renowned duo Sam & Colby, is now officially cancer-free!

Sam and Colby, two well-known YouTube personalities, have gained fame for their adventures into deserted locations and ghost investigations within allegedly haunted homes.

In the early months of 2023, Colby received a diagnosis of testicular cancer. This was following him experiencing a discomfort similar to a bruise in his groin area back in November 2022.

Back in February 2023, my doctor took out the problematic testicle, yet they cautioned me that there was a 35% likelihood of the cancer recurring.

2025-05-27 marked the day when Colby joyfully announced that his grueling two-year battle with chemotherapy had come to an end. Remarkably, he is now in full remission from cancer, and medical experts predict a mere 2 – 3% probability of the disease recurring.

He shared on platform X that his doctors informed him in May 2023, following his chemotherapy completion, that a cancer recurrence was likely within a few years. Now that it’s been two years since treatment, the likelihood of him getting the same cancer again has significantly decreased to approximately 2-3% or less.

He continued by expressing gratitude towards his close friend, Sam Golbach, for teaching him how to use cold caps during chemotherapy to preserve his hair, as well as for the long drive together through Las Vegas in search of dry ice. In his own words, “You were always there to listen when I needed someone and you never left my side throughout it all. I love you, buddy.

Ultimately, the YouTuber emphasized the importance of prioritizing personal health, remarking “what I’ve come to realize through this experience is that health truly matters most. I never imagined I would face cancer at 25, but it happened and served as a stark reminder that no one is immune.

Approximately two years following Colby’s first round of treatment in 2023, which included two spells of chemotherapy totalling around 42 days and described by him as the “most intense mental test I’ve ever faced”, this recent news has surfaced.

Ever since then, Colby has managed to tag along with Sam during their thrilling worldwide excursions into eerie locations. Their latest escapade led them astray within the extensive network of approximately 300 kilometers of burial sites located under the city streets of Paris, France – the catacombs.
