Hello Neighbor 3 Playtest Is Live Now

In a new development, TinyBuild is once again visiting the quaint yet unsettling town of Raven Brooks with Hello Neighbor 3, and this time, players are invited to join along during an open playtest. The game challenges players to delve into the mysteries of the partially deserted town of Raven Brooks, eventually managing to escape.

In a video shared by primary developer and series originator Nikita Kolesnikov, it was revealed that the second playable prototype for the upcoming game is now available. He also provided an overview of what players can expect to explore during the playtest. The latest installment of Hello Neighbor 3 showcases a brand-new map that’s more in line with its intended design according to Kolesnikov.

The character is assigned to investigate and gather valuable items from various homes scattered throughout Raven Brooks village, aiming ultimately to flee prior to a looming storm. However, certain residences are inhabited, and these residents might not take kindly to the protagonist’s unwelcome presence.

In the dynamic world of Hello Neighbor 3, players have the freedom to handle each situation uniquely, employing strategies such as stealth, quickness, raw power, or even dialogue. The primary appeal of this game lies in the living, responsive environment of Raven Brooks township; its residents carry on with their daily routines unless disturbed. However, when interacted with, they can respond in unexpected and varied ways to player actions, thereby creating fresh avenues within the game.

Players can request access to the new prototype’s playtest on Hello Neighbor 3’s Steam page.

Despite receiving negative reviews from critics at its initial launch, the publishing company, TinyBuild, successfully expanded the Hello Neighbor series into a franchise with various spin-offs, books, and even an animated television program.
