5 Bloodborne Bosses That Would Dominate in Elden Ring Nightreign

If you’ve always yearned to try a game with Soulsborne-like challenges, an intricate plot that seems to advance at breakneck speed, and the unique blend of gothic aesthetics and horrifying bosses, then Bloodborne is just what you’re looking for. In fact, it might be the only game out there that can truly satisfy all your gaming desires.

Back in 2015, I stumbled upon a true work of art – Bloodborne. This game set the stage for an entire genre within gaming, the Soulsborne series. The bosses in this game, they’re something special, unlike anything you find in more recent releases. They’ve got a unique charm that’s hard to put into words.

That’s the reason behind our presentation of 5 characters who, if they were part of Elden Ring Nightreign, would surely be displeased.

1 Rom, The Vacuous Spider

To put it straightforwardly, nobody relishes the idea of battling a colossal spider in a video game, especially one with teleportation powers. That’s precisely the kind of character Rom from Bloodborne represents. Despite having limited health, his infuriating ability to teleport while taking damage is what really makes him a nuisance.

If you find that maddening, keep in mind that Rom the Vampire Knight is accompanied by a swarm of spiders. As soon as they spot you, they’ll swoop down and a single attack could knock off a third of your health or worse, deal a one-shot kill.

2 Moon Presence

Based on the theme of Elden Ring Nightreign, Moon Presence could make an ideal boss for concluding the day with your teammates. Originating from the universe of Bloodborne, this eldritch entity is predominantly made up of human flesh and bones. Its distinctive head tentacles give it a resemblance to Cthulhu.

As per the game’s storyline, Moon Presence is considered one of the ancient beings known as the Great Ones. The specifics about its origin are mostly shrouded in mystery, but this cosmic entity has the power to control and shape the Hunter’s dream realm, making it a powerful adversary for the Hunter.

3 Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos

If Moon Presence left you feeling a bit queasy, just wait until the Cosmic Daughter wraps you up with her tentacles to swallow you whole, and then starts chomping. Ebrietas embodies precisely what you’d anticipate from a game that’s all about ‘Eldritch Terror’.

In addition to resembling a disastrous date night, Ebrietas is also one of the most frustrating bosses in Bloodborne, primarily due to her long-range tentacle whip assaults and her ability to spit blood, causing significant Frenzy damage.

4 Orphan of Kos

The character known as Orphan of Kos is found within the downloadable content (DLC) titled Bloodborne: The Old Hunters. This particular character is notorious for being the most challenging boss in the entire game, causing many sleepless nights among gamers due to his terrifying appearance and blood-curdling screams. Beyond just giving players chilling dreams, Orphan of Kos’s long-range attacks and unpredictable behavior have had a profound impact on the mental wellbeing of many players.

Not only was the boss rather unpleasant, FromSoftware took it a step further by equipping him with a weapon made from solidified placenta. Occasionally, he’d hurl chunks at you – quite an unsettling experience. Despite this, he is one of the best bosses in the game. If introduced into Nightreign, his presence could have been even more striking within the expansive open-world map of the game.

5 Mergo’s Wet Nurse

In a different phrasing, the character known as Mergo’s Wet Nurse in Bloodborne is an unusual, tall figure boasting six bony arms. While this hooded creature often goes unnoticed within the Bloodborne community, it may serve as a harbinger of death in Elden Ring Nightreign. This ominous being wields six curved swords with remarkable reach and speed, leaving anyone unfortunate enough to approach within striking distance severely injured.

Instead of swiftly brandishing six swords, Mergo’s Wet Nurse possesses the unique ability to generate miniature dimensions filled with replicas of itself, along with the capability for instantaneous transportation. While a seasoned Souls player can easily evade her attacks by dodging, in an expansive open-world game like Nightreign, her teleportation and long-range assault would make her virtually unstoppable.
