In the game Monster Hunter World, Capcom has made known that enhancements for the hammer weapon have been rolled out immediately through version 1.011. A second round of improvements for this weapon is scheduled to drop alongside update 2.
Alongside the recent Street Fighter 6 collaboration, Version 1.011 also modifies the power of the hammer weapon in Monster Hunter Wilds. The patch notes describe the update:
- The overall power of attacks has been increased.
- Element scaling for Charge Shot and Overhead Smash has been increased.
- You can now evade while readying an Upswing attack.
- The responsiveness of actions performed while charging has been improved, and sliding has been made easier to perform.
- Enlarged the hitboxes for Upswing and sneak attacks.
- The cancel timing for Focus Blow: Earthquake is now slightly earlier.
- Fixed an issue where selecting an item from the Custom Radial Menu would not automatically use the item after sheathing your weapon.
In the joint venture between Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6, there’s a unique side mission titled “Ultimate Strength,” featuring Akuma. By accomplishing this mission, as well as the collaborative arena quests labeled Demonic Strength and True Strength, players can obtain special collaboration rewards. These rewards encompass:
1. The unique opportunity to experience the thrill of hunting monsters alongside the Street Fighter character, Akuma.
2. Exclusive in-game items themed after this exciting partnership between Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6.
- “Akuma” hunter full armor set and layered equipment
- “Blanka-Chan” Palico full armor set and layered equipment
- Hunter Profile background, nameplate, and pose

The game titled “Monster Hunter Rampage” can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Final Weapon magazine awarded “Monster Hunter Rampage” a score of 4 out of 5, praising it as an outstanding addition to the established series and a fitting successor to “Monster Hunter World”.
