Cinema ceiling collapses & injures woman during new Final Destination screening

As spectators watched Final Destination: Bloodlines at the movie theater, a section of the ceiling suddenly gave way, resulting in an injury for one female audience member.

In every film from the “Final Destination” series, there are some exceptionally gory death scenes. It’s not surprising that people might feel a touch on edge and even spooked by ordinary items around them following a viewing.

Despite being merely film sequences, they felt distressingly authentic to a 29-year-old woman in Berisso, Argentina – an experience she had encountered in her own reality.

On what should’ve been an extraordinary celebration for her birthday, I found myself witnessing a chilling turn of events. Instead of enjoying Final Destination: Bloodlines, tragedy struck when part of the theater’s ceiling, as it were, came crashing down upon her.

Woman almost went through a real-life Final Destination situation

Fiamma Villaverde kicked off her birthday celebrations by going to a cinema in La Plata with her 11-year-old daughter and a companion on May 19th. As reported by Infobae, they chose a specific local theater to catch the latest release of the Final Destination series.

Throughout the film, everything seemed ordinary until an unexpected moment towards the end, when it sounded like a big chunk of the ceiling collapsed onto her. Villaverde mentioned that it was a particularly loud sound that caught her attention first.

So apparently a ceiling collapsed during a showing of the new Final Destination movie. 😟

Initially, I found myself completely engrossed, believing that what I saw was just a cleverly crafted scene in the film. However, things took an unexpected turn when a massive prop came crashing down right onto me.

She shared that, being slightly balanced on the armrest, her head remained unscathed since it wasn’t struck by falling debris. Yet, she disclosed that she sustained some injuries, such as a bruise on her knee due to the collision.

Following the occurrence, she swiftly made her way to the ticket desk, demanding a refund right away. As medical assistance was being summoned, she was subsequently spoken to by the manager, who enquired about her preferred resolution method. In response, she stated her choice.

What should I do about this issue? I plan on submitting a report because if this had struck my child instead, it would have been unacceptable. It appears they are not taking enough care.

Instead of accepting the offer to be escorted to a different hospital and having her costs paid, she apparently chose to go to Berisso Hospital herself because it was more conveniently located near her residence.

As a gamer, I was livid after a hard fall during our latest gaming session left me reeling. A quick trip to the hospital revealed that I’d taken quite a hit, with trauma from the impact being the diagnosis. To add insult to injury, I’ve got several bruises all over too. The doc suggested another X-ray on my back in a few days to make sure everything heals properly.

Besides dealing with physical wounds, she’s also experiencing frequent panic attacks and anxiety issues.

Speaking candidly about her mental health, she shared that she’s currently under psychiatric care and taking medication. She explained that being in busy environments is challenging for her, as she hasn’t been to the cinema for years. However, due to it being her birthday, she decided to go, and unfortunately, an incident occurred.

“I haven’t been able to work for days. Who’s going to take responsibility for this?” she added.
