Furthermore, production on the film only began last month, and a year isn’t a long time for such a massive franchise to prepare their next Marvel event film.

If this does indeed occur, it would be a significant event in the movie industry given the sizeable nature of these franchises. It should also be noted that “Dune” movies have experienced delays in the past.

But, The Devil Wears Prada 2 News That Came With It Is A Big Deal In My Opinion

It seems significant to me that “The Devil Wears Prada 2” has been scheduled for release in the time slot previously occupied by “Doomsday,” which is a highly coveted position. Essentially, it’s a big announcement because a comedy film produced by Disney is slated for a prime spot at the beginning of summer. I believe this demonstrates a strong confidence in the sequel.

The proposed continuation of “The Devil Wears Prada” was initially revealed in July, with news that the author of the original film would handle the script. However, I’ve been somewhat indifferent towards this movie due to lack of updates regarding the return of the original cast members such as Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci (Tucci mentioned in October that he hadn’t received any news about it). Nevertheless, I find it hard to believe that Disney would greenlight a sequel and position it where the “Avengers” franchise once stood without some significant plans for it.

To be honest, I believe the transition we’re seeing with “Doomsday” might partially stem from “Thunderbolts” underperforming commercially as Disney had hoped.
