Clash remaster in R6 Siege X explained

For Clash, Ubisoft has planned several modifications, and there are quite a few new features to look forward to. To start, she’ll be able to sprint, crouch, and jump with her shield on, which will significantly boost her mobility. Additionally, she can now move in various directions (say goodbye to window-related struggles). How to play new Clash in R6 Siege X

Currently, Clash isn’t built for racking up kills. Instead, she serves as a defensive linchpin, preventing enemy access to sites and drawing attention away from teammates. Essentially, she functions more like a supportive character on the team.

As a Clash fan, I’d always advise that, in most situations, it’s best to avoid relying on your shield unless absolutely necessary – like when you’re squared off against two (or more) opponents. In such a predicament, an opponent could easily sneak up from the side, making the shield a risky choice. Instead, opting for a gun would significantly boost your chances of survival in that tight spot.

In a one-on-one scenario, you can effectively delay your opponent for an extended period by controlling electrical energy from your shield at a distance. Once your adversary closes in and strikes your shield, swiftly move your cursor to the right to ensure continuous coverage.

The information given earlier remains valid for the revamped Clash character. Yet, her updated form boasts enhanced mobility, making it easier and quicker for her to navigate and change positions. This feature proves particularly useful in situations where rapid movement is essential, such as when attempting to defend a defuser on the other side of the map.

One significant alteration is that Clash can lower her shield and fire from a concealed position, which makes her both secure and dangerous towards enemies. It’s worth noting that when adopting this tactic, the SPSMG9 gun is highly recommended as it offers good range and damage. However, be aware that you’ll have a limited supply of ammunition for this weapon.

The major issue with Clash lies in the deployment time of her CCE Shield. This lengthy process leaves you vulnerable as your enemy can easily outmaneuver or flank you. Moreover, the deployed gadget is destructible, meaning an opponent can eliminate your primary ability with a single grenade or simply dash through it, leaving you with just a secondary weapon. It’s also crucial to keep in mind that in most rounds, you’ll likely face Ash or Zofia. Therefore, any improvements made to Clash come with added risks for this operator.
