Yesterday marked the launch of Fantasy Life I: The Time-Stealing Girl, a unique blend of Role Playing Game (RPG) and life simulation genres. This release is the most recent addition to the series initiated by Level 5, a Japanese studio, in 2012, and notably, it’s the first installment available on PC platforms. Interestingly, it was on these rigs that Fantasy Life originally gained unexpected popularity.
- The game had a very good start on Steam. The record for the launch day on this platform was 34,318 players playing at the same time. This is the best result in the history of Level 5 studio.
- Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time clearly appealed to the players. The game on Steam has over 2,400 reviews, and 92% of them praise the title, which is categorized as a “very positive” reception of the game.
- Players love the game for its extensive content and seamless blend of RPG and life sim genres, with neither being neglected.
- The complaints mainly concern the poorly implemented multiplayer mode. There, the NPCs disappear, the leveling system is turned off, and the session can only last for 90 minutes. Players hope that the devs will fix that with the updates. Up to this point, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is mainly suitable for solo play.
