TikToker Shot Dead on Stream: Chilling Note Found at Murder Scene

According to police, the individual believed to have murdered 23-year-old TikTok star Valeria Márquez at her beauty salon was found to have left a written message along with a bouquet of red roses at the crime scene.

On May 13, 2025, prior to Márquez reaching her beauty salon located in Zapopan, Mexico, an individual disguised as a delivery driver slipped into the premises. He asserted he had a “very valuable” present for her, insisting on personal delivery.

Upon her arrival, the influencer seemed worried and informed her audience, “Perhaps they intended to harm me. Were they planning to apprehend me, or something like that?

Shortly following that, another individual appeared requesting the influencer by name. He then fired at her three times before both he and his accomplice left the area.

The killing that was streamed live turned into headlines worldwide, and videos of the crime were removed from her account as authorities initiated a search for the perpetrator.

Suspect leaves note where TikToker was killed on stream

A few days following the tragic event, a bundle of crimson roses and a written message were found at the hair salon. The police moved promptly to secure the delivery, suspecting it might have originated from the primary suspect.

The note simply contained the words “Sorry” and nothing else.

Based on a report from La Derecha Diario, the package was handed over by an unidentified person using an application, and this delivery has been included in their ongoing probe.

As a gamer, I’d like to share some news that’s been circulating: Márquez, who’s known on TikTok, wasn’t involved in any criminal activities according to the police. However, Denis Rodríguez, spokesperson for the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office, suggests that Marquez might have been a target for hitmen.

It seems clear he hadn’t met her before. From this, it’s reasonable to infer – without making assumptions – that this was an individual who was compensated… undoubtedly one who had a specific task at hand, according to him.

Investigators are also looking into the murder of a previous congressman, which occurred just hours prior to Márquez’s fatal shooting. In this case, it’s suspected that the getaway of two men on a motorcycle might link them with the incident.

Currently, it appears that the Governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus Navarro, has stated that they have developed a detailed sketch of the suspect and possess accurate information about those involved in the crime.

It’s not a new occurrence that an influencer has met a violent end. In 2023, a well-known TikToker, often referred to as the “Narco Queen,” was gunned down in daylight by two assailants. The incident occurred while she was heading to a nail salon.
