Asmongold blames YouTube rules for why he refuses to stream there

As streaming sensation Asmongold clarifies his plans, he shares the reason behind his decision not to utilize YouTube when multistreaming, opting instead for a slight shift away from Twitch.

Over the last several years, I’ve noticed an increasing trend among streamers: multi-platform streaming. Pioneered by the legendary Fortnite player Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, this approach has become a real breakthrough as he successfully streamed simultaneously on Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

A trend that many broadcasters have adopted as well, notably since the large exclusive deals offered by platforms in the past have become less common.

Asmongold, known for his stardom, has expressed his desire to diversify streaming platforms due to growing exhaustion with relying solely on Twitch. Yet, he won’t be streaming on YouTube, so you won’t find him there.

Asmongold won’t multi-stream on YouTube

In his livestream on May 21st, the popular broadcaster mentioned that he intends to begin broadcasting simultaneously across multiple platforms imminently. Yet, it’s important to note that he will not be streaming live on YouTube.

He explained that while he plans to stream on other platforms, he won’t be using YouTube because of their strict rules, particularly regarding his type of reactive content.

In a short while, the ex-member of OTK shared that he’ll be moving forward with his strategies, and hinted at discussing multi-streaming within the upcoming week.

I’ll be sharing the details about my multi-streaming venture soon, likely within the next week. I’ll give you a specific date then, so stay tuned!

The streamer would welcome the opportunity for one or two exclusive streams, if a platform covered his travel costs to attend events like UFC fight nights. However, he’ll opt for broadcasting on multiple platforms in other cases.
