In Los Angeles and New York, ‘Protector’ can be utilized by users, providing instant access to personal security services tailored to individual preferences and requirements.

In May of 2025, the newly-released app became incredibly popular after Collin Rugg posted videos about Protector. These videos garnered more than 7 million views within just a few days on X platform.

According to founder Nick Sarath, finding security used to be an “unintuitive experience.”

He described it as navigating a labyrinth, where you need to explore multiple security sites to verify them.

On the app, the Protectors are typically former active-duty police officers, military personnel, or those who have recently hung up their uniforms.

The app enables women to select personal security guards akin to Uber, allowing them to decide on the guard’s attire. It would be beneficial for Dr. Fauci and John Bolton to examine this innovative service.

The app empowers users by giving them control over aspects such as choosing their driver (in this case, bodyguard), deciding on their appearance, determining destinations, and specifying duration of service.

He clarified that they originate from elite teams within their respective departments or organizations, including the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit, Emergency Response Units, Air Force Pararescue Jumpers (PJ), and even the Navy SEAL teams.

In the videos, users explored the application and were taken aback by the outcomes. Users have the freedom to decide on the number of guards they wish to employ, set their uniform style, specify their meeting point, as well as determine the length of protection required.
