In the upcoming Game 1 matchup between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks, as predicted by NBA 2K25, we’ll find out who the simulation thinks will emerge victorious. We’ve advanced to the Conference Finals Round, where the last pair of Eastern teams will engage in a fierce battle for a spot in the Finals. The Indiana Pacers managed to knock off the top-ranked Cleveland Cavaliers in a five-game series. On the other hand, the Knicks overcame the reigning champions, the Celtics, in six games. Both squads will have multiple opportunities to claim victory in this best-of-seven series, but for now, we’re only curious about who NBA 2K predicts as the winner.
Indiana Pacers vs. New York Knicks Game 1 Results According To NBA 2K25
Based on our NBA 2K25 simulation, the Indiana Pacers emerged victorious over the New York Knicks in Game 1 with a score of 106-94. The Pacers established an early advantage and maintained it throughout the game, even when the Knicks nearly staged a comeback, narrowing the gap to just two points at the 6:35 mark of the third quarter. However, the Pacers regained control in the fourth quarter, pulling ahead again by double digits to secure a win and take a 1-0 lead in this series.
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
IND | 30 | 24 | 18 | 34 | 106 |
NY | 18 | 21 | 26 | 29 | 94 |
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that Pascal Siakam took charge last night, scoring a whopping 26 points for our team in the win! Beyond the basket, he also managed six rebounds, three assists, and even snagged one steal. Tyrese Haliburton came close to achieving a triple-double, contributing an impressive 24 points, nine rebounds, and as many assists to the game. No other player on our roster scored more than 13 points, but everyone stepped up their defensive game to keep the Knicks at bay. It was a team effort that led us to victory!
In last night’s game, Jalen Brunson led with an impressive 35 points, four rebounds, and one assist, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to secure a win. Karl-Anthony Towns contributed another 28 points, along with 15 rebounds, one assist, and three steals. Besides Brunson, Towns, and Mikal Bridges, no other Knick scored more than five points. The offense struggled significantly for the Knicks.
In simpler terms, Indiana outperformed the Knicks in field goals, three-point shots, and defensive plays like steals and blocks, which led them to victory. The Knicks struggled with missed shots early on, giving Indiana an advantage. Interestingly, both teams had a total of 17 turnovers, yet they collectively scored only 14 points. This game highlights the importance of effective shooting and solid defense in basketball.
Although the Knicks grabbed nearly double the number of rebounds, they struggled to convert these chances into points, which gave their opponents a substantial early advantage. If they manage to enhance their shooting precision, they might prevent such a large initial deficit in the forthcoming match. We’ll find out if they can bounce back from a rocky beginning in the next game.
In the third quarter, New York significantly improved their game, scoring 26 points while limiting the Pacers to only 18. This reduced the gap from a 15-point deficit to just 8 points, offering New York some opportunity for a rally. However, the Pacers heated up in the final period, reclaiming a double-digit lead and ultimately snuffing out the Knicks’ comeback hopes.

With the victory, the Pacers now hold the advantage in the series. They effectively restricted the Knicks’ offensive efforts, and their early substantial lead turned out to be beneficial. Despite almost squandering a 21-point advantage, they ultimately pulled through and maintained control. We’ll have to wait and see if they can keep up this performance as the series progresses.
During Game 1, the Knicks unfortunately lost, putting them behind at 0-1. They made a good effort to catch up around halfway through, but ultimately couldn’t pull it off and let Indiana take control again. This team needs to find a way to change their fortunes in Game 2. We’ll see if they can turn things around sooner rather than later.
The second game of the series is in New York, but for games three and four, both teams journey to Indiana. If the Pacers win two games, they might finish the series at home. However, we’re wise enough not to think the Knicks will easily concede. Excited to see what unfolds next!
