TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
MIN | 34 | 20 | 32 | 38 | 124 |
OKC | 26 | 31 | 24 | 37 | 118 |
As a die-hard Wolves fan, I’m ecstatic to share that I was part of the team last night! Leading the charge, I poured in 39 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, dished out two assists, and swiped two steals. Anthony Edwards was a force too, contributing an impressive 31 points, six rebounds, one assist, and three steals. Not to be outshone, Mike Conley added 23 points, collected 3 rebounds, distributed seven assists, and snatched one steal. Truly, the entire starting lineup put up a stellar performance that clinched the victory here!
In a standout performance, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander racked up an impressive 58 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out eight assists, along with one steal and two blocks. Chet Holmgren pitched in too, contributing 18 points and eight rebounds. Beyond them and Jalen Williams, no other player managed to score more than six points. However, despite Gilgeous-Alexander’s impressive stats, it wasn’t enough to secure a win for the Thunder in the opening game of the series.
In tonight’s match against OKC, I made them pay dearly for their errors. They fouled too much and it cost them big time. Out of 37 free throw attempts, Minnesota converted an impressive 31! On our side, we only managed to convert 20. Not only that, but we also struggled to hold onto the ball, giving away 14 turnovers – something the Thunder couldn’t seem to do less. With their mistakes, we capitalized and scored a whopping 19 points from those turnovers. In essence, I exploited their errors and snatched game 1 for Minnesota.
In a surprising twist, Minnesota managed to take five fewer field goal shots than Oklahoma City, but surprisingly, they were just as prolific with their attempts. Moreover, they demonstrated better precision from beyond the arc. Oklahoma City had an edge in rebounds, yet they struggled to turn those opportunities into points, which gave Minnesota the chance to either keep pace or extend their advantage in the game.

With the victory, the Timberwolves clinch Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. They effectively countered the Thunder’s fast-paced offense. Edwards delivered a strong performance, but other starters also shone. They’ll be relied upon again as they play another game in Oklahoma City before returning to Minnesota. We’ll watch to see if they can build on their lead before departing for home.
In Game 1, Oklahoma City Thunder suffered a loss, putting them behind 0-1 in the series. Their offense performed well, but their defense had trouble keeping Minnesota’s top players in check. Yet, remember that just recently, we witnessed the Thunder winning a seven-game series against Denver. This shows they are ready to stretch this series to its full seven games if necessary. Let’s watch as they try to even the score before traveling to Minnesota later this week.
The action resumes in Oklahoma City for Game 2, followed by Games 3 and 4 being played in Minnesota. If Minnesota manages to win both these games, they might have a shot at wrapping up the series within their home turf. However, we’re well aware that the Thunder aren’t likely to surrender easily. Let’s see what unfolds next!
In summary, here are the outcomes of the first game between Timberwolves and Thunder, as per NBA 2K25 simulation. We’re glad you found it entertaining! The simulations serve not only as fun but also help us refine our predictions by tweaking CPU settings. Although there are areas for improvement, we’re becoming increasingly content with each sim.
