During the week of May 12-18, “American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden” was the most popular series on Netflix with 12.6 million views within five days of its May 14 debut, while another chilling documentary series, “Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story,” amassed 8.3 million views in the same time frame.

For the second consecutive week, “Forever,” an adaptation by Mara Brock Akil of Judy Blume’s 1975 novel with the same title, ranked third in viewership. This romance series, which has been granted a second season, saw its viewership jump from 3.7 million last week to 6.7 million this week.
