Here’s What The Nintendo Switch 2 Game Cards and Carrying Case Look Like

Nintendo has given a comprehensive description of the authentic Switch 2 travel case, along with images of the Switch 2 game cards.

In a recent update on the Nintendo Today app, the company unveiled a new storage case designed to hold the Switch 2 console, two Joy-Con straps, and six game cards. This video also offers our best view so far of the Switch 2 game cards. This 40-dollar case from Nintendo comes with a foldable cover featuring compact compartments suitable for holding up to six games. Additionally, it includes a zippered pouch that can store Joy-Con wrist straps.

As a dedicated Nintendo fan, I’ve been thrilled to see the gradual unveiling of details about the upcoming console on the Nintendo Today app. Last week, for one, we discovered that the Switch 2 will feature customizable GL/GR buttons, offering more control personalization compared to the original Switch. Moreover, there are several user-friendly accessibility features planned for the new GameChat functionality.

The launch of the Switch 2 is set for June 5th, however, preorders were swiftly exhausted and have since been difficult to find in the U.S. Nintendo anticipates that its higher price might limit initial adoption, but it still estimates selling approximately 15 million Switch 2 consoles during their fiscal year ending in 2026.
