DreamLeague S26 Format & Schedule
DreamLeague Season 26, running from May 19 to June 1, 2025, is a multi-week online tournament jam-packed with matches. Kicking off on May 19, 2025, the Group Stage 1 will unfold. Following that, Group Stage 2 will ensue, leading towards the Playoff phase. The Playoffs will continue until the Grand Final on June 1, 2025, where the victorious team will be crowned champion.
The competition starts with Group Phase 1, where the 16 participating teams get split into two groups of eight, each team facing every other team once. Each match during this phase consists of a best-of-two series. The top four teams from each group move on to the next round, while the bottom four are knocked out. The remaining eight teams then proceed to Group Phase 2.
In this phase, every team plays seven matches against their fellow eight competitors, each match being a best-of-three series. The importance lies in the fact that the top two teams get an advantageous position in the Playoffs’ Upper Bracket, while those placing third and fourth move on to the Lower Bracket. Teams finishing at the bottom will be knocked out of the tournament.
In the final phase, known as the Playoffs, we have a double-elimination format involving six teams. Most matches during the Playoffs lead up to the Grand Final, which are typically best-of-three except for the climactic Grand Final itself, a thrilling best-of-five showdown to determine the champion of DreamLeague Season 26.
