The story unfolds in rural America, where the protagonist, portrayed by Lawrence, is consumed by both love and madness, seemingly unnoticed by her husband, played by Pattinson. This project marks Ramsay’s return to the Croisette since his 2017 thriller “You Were Never Really Here,” which featured Joaquin Phoenix and garnered the best screenplay award.
