The final episode of “Saturday Night Live” started off with a political sketch, in which James Austin Johnson portrayed Donald Trump socializing with the Saudi Arabian Prime Minister and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (played by Emil Wakim).
Trump commented on his recent trips in the Middle East, stating they’ve been quite enjoyable. He reminisced about his journey, mentioning the local food he tried and admitting his preference for dining at the ‘Mobile McDonald’s,’ which indeed exists.
Trump stated, “I’m a supporter of everything that Saudi Arabia provides, ranging from their oil resources to their wealth, all the way to the end.
As a supporter, I can share that Trump once mentioned considering the $400 million Air Force One offered by Qatar. He openly acknowledged it as a potential bribe, adding that he had noticed the superior quality of their aircraft compared to ours, querying, “Have you seen what’s been going on with our planes?
Toward the conclusion of the performance, Trump emphasized strongly, exclaiming repeatedly, “I have deep affection for the Arab people! I don’t want to leave! I wish to remain here! Transport me to their land, a reference to Morgan Wallen’s controversial post-SNL social media statement.
Afterward, Trump moved into the crowd, commenting that with “SNL” wrapping up its 50th season, he said, “This one’s been the least impressive so far!
He went on, ‘I’m stepping out of the fictional realm for now.’ He warned, ‘You probably won’t see me around here for some time – not the character who brings laughter. If our nation survives until autumn, I hope we meet again then.’
