Given the trend of cancellations for fantasy shows, especially those with larger budgets, it seems likely that Bacon’s next project might fare better. Often, fantasy series are cut short due to their high production costs. Even shows with high Rotten Tomatoes ratings and long stays atop streaming charts have been canceled, which is why Prime Video decided not to invest in another season for The Bondsman. Unfortunately, if given more time, this series might have improved and reached its full potential.
