The Cannes Film Festival is ongoing, where numerous films are being marketed to potential buyers or distributors. However, the festival is also renowned for significant deals on upcoming projects. It’s been confirmed that a prequel film for the John Rambo series is being promoted at the festival. Now, J.J. Abrams is debuting what appears to be an intriguing new version of the creature feature, with several prominent figures already involved.

According to Deadline, Brie Larson will headline the upcoming horror movie “Fail-Safe,” directed by JT Mollner and written by Brian Duffield. J.J.
