Death Stranding Star Norman Reedus Says He’s Willing To Appear In The Film Adaptation If Asked To

A Death Stranding film adaptation is being worked on at a preliminary level, with no cast members confirmed as of now. However, Norman Reedus, who played the lead character in the game, has expressed interest in joining the project should he be given the opportunity.

During an interview with IGN at the Ballerina press event where he lent his voice and likeness for the game’s main character Sam Porter Bridges, Reedus was asked if he would be open to appearing in the Death Stranding movie. “Absolutely, if it were possible,” Reedus replied. “I’m not sure about its progress, but yes, of course, if there are any developments.

The upcoming Death Stranding movie has secured a director, with Michael Sarnoski now involved in the project. Known for his work on A Quiet Place: Day One, Sarnoski is also working on his upcoming release, titled The Death of Robin Hood, which is currently in post-production.

We know that the Death Stranding project is being made in collaboration with A24 and Kojima Productions, and its creator Hideo Kojima has suggested that it will delve into the mysterious extinction event depicted in the title.

In other updates, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to launch on June 26 exclusively for PS5. Prior to its debut, the game has been positively received in previews and early critic assessments. However, creator Hideo Kojima has hinted at a wish for the game to spark more debates and disagreements among its players.
