Level-5 has completely dissolved the Level5 comcept subsidiary established with Keiji Inafune

On April 30th of this year, Level-5 officially disbanded Level5 Concept, the joint venture company founded with Keiji Inafune. This information was shared with shareholders today, May 15th, through a telegram announcement.

Level5 Concept was founded in June 2017, with Keiji Inafune taking the lead upon his arrival at Level-5. This offshoot company eventually became recognized for developing the game “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time“. However, Inafune departed from the entire organization in mid-2024, which led Level-5’s CEO, Akihiro Hino, to restructure the development of this game in March.

Back in March 3rd of this year, our company established a new branch in Osaka. This office now manages all the operations previously handled by Level5 comcept, including the development team behind Fantasy Life. Consequently, due to this transition, it no longer makes sense for Level-5 to maintain the subsidiary that has seen its leading figure depart.
