EA Sports sat down with MoneyGram Haas F1 drivers Ollie Bearman and Esteban Ocon to reveal their F1 25 ratings that had been previously determined. However, before unveiling the scores, EA Sports inquired about the drivers’ personal expectations regarding their ratings. The responses were amusing as both drivers attempted to guess their own scores.

In a jovial manner, Bearman prophesied he would encounter an experience of ‘3’, drive a ’69’ racecraft, and possess ’52’ Awareness. When he checked his actual score (74), his response was priceless. “They claim I’m not aware!” he exclaims, as he glances at his 65 Awareness score. Interestingly enough, he did exceed his predicted racercraft rating of ’84’, which was significantly higher than what he anticipated.

Ocon playfully admitted that he wasn’t expecting a high awareness score when he saw his 79 rating. However, it turned out to be significantly higher than what he anticipated. In the end, he was rated 85 overall (OVR), with an impressive 86 for Racecraft and 85 for Pace.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share an interesting insight: While Bearman’s Awareness is the least among all racers in the game, it ties with Isack Hadjar from Visa Cash App RB. Yet, what sets Bearman apart is his impressive racecraft rating, which propels him to the 16th spot overall among the 20 drivers.

Esteban Ocon lines up 10th on the starting grid with an 85 Race Tactics Grade (RTG). Although his Awareness is relatively low, his other statistics are all at least 81 points, indicating a high level of proficiency. He would be a reliable teammate or driver to have in Driver Career or My Team.

A driver’s Experience score increases steadily as they spend more years in Formula 1, with Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, two seasoned racers, having the highest ratings. Experience pertains to speed and a driver’s skill in setting the fastest lap during a race. Max Verstappen currently tops this category with an impressive 96 rating. Racecraft and awareness encompass a driver’s knack for making strategic maneuvers like overtaking, as well as their ability to avoid penalties.
