Square Enix has published a video comparing the opening moments of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
This short video, less than a minute long, compares the graphics of the new game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2 (when connected to a TV), and PC. It only shows the game’s intro sequence, not any actual gameplay. You can watch it courtesy of Square Enix below.
You can find my interview with Naoki Hamaguchi, where we talk about Final Fantasy VII Remake potentially coming to Switch 2 and Xbox, right here.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is out now for PlayStation 5 and PC, playable through Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S on January 22, 2026, and will support Play Anywhere on Xbox.
