The release date for Stellar Blade on PC just slipped out from Sony. PS5 players are getting something new too

At last, I’ve got the scoop on when Stellar Blade will grace our PC screens! Seemingly by mistake, a trailer for the game surfaced on the PlayStation YouTube channel and, just as swiftly as it appeared, was taken down. But fear not, the gaming community was quick to pounce and the video found its way onto Reddit. As revealed in the trailer, we’re looking at a PC launch date of June 11, 2025. You can still catch the video over on Reddit!

Everything we know about Stellar Blade’s PC launch

It’s fantastic to hear that not only will the PC version, but also Stellar Blade: Complete Edition is expected on June 11 for both PC and PS5. This enhanced edition features DLCs modeled after NieR: Automata and Goddess of Victory: Nikkie. Additionally, players can expect to receive a fluffy bear cosmetic set for the drone and a captain-style version of Eve’s Planet Diving Suit, similar to the one Tachy wears in the game’s opening.

Indeed, additional perks for pre-orders are available: stylish round spectacles, golden ear armor earrings, and a chic white version of Eve’s suit. The pricing details were not disclosed, so we’ll need to stay tuned to find out the total cost.

As a die-hard fan, I’m super excited about the latest trailer that gave us a sneak peek at a fresh boss battle against Mann, the Sentinels’ Commander, and an additional 25 stylish outfits for my favorite character, Eve! These new features, along with the anticipated Chinese and Japanese voiceovers, are set to be included in an upcoming update for both PC and PS5. Shift Up initially hinted at this exciting news way back in February 2025.

On the technical front, the PC version is looking promising with some exciting features. It’s expected to include FSR 3 and DLSS 4, providing smooth gameplay without frame rate limitations, support for ultrawide monitors, and enhanced environment textures for a more refined visual experience. However, we are yet to receive official confirmation about these details, and the PC system requirements haven’t been revealed on Steam as of now, but they should be unveiled soon.

Incidentally, developers recently shared a brief gameplay video of the game running on Steam Deck, which has sparked discussion about the potential release of Stellar Blade on the rumored Switch 2. However, at this point, such speculation remains unverified.
