In other news, according to reporter Zach Bussey, it appears that Twitch is planning to introduce a Live Rewind feature on their platform soon.
It seems like Twitch is experimenting with a feature called Live Rewind, and there’s speculation that they may officially announce this at Twitchcon in Rotterdam in 2025. This information was shared on platform X (previously known as Twitter) on May 11th.
It seems that Twitch could be trialing a new feature called Live Rewind, according to rumors. Possible announcements for this feature might come during Twitchcon Rotterdam in 2025.

Currently, rewind isn’t instant on Twitch; instead, you need to switch from live streaming to watching a Video on Demand (VOD). There’s also a wait time for the VOD to catch up with the moments you were watching previously, which can be quite inconvenient.
For esports enthusiasts using Twitch, having an instant rewind feature would undoubtedly be a valuable addition, allowing them to quickly rewind and save significant highlights just moments after they occur.
According to Bussey, the feature hasn’t been activated as of now, but it’s expected to go live soon. Since Twitch is planning a grand reveal, it would be wise to stay tuned and watch for updates.
