‘Found’ Canceled After Two Seasons at NBC

“Found” has canceled at NBC after two seasons, EbMaster has confirmed.

The television show known as “drama series” premiered on NBC in the year 2023. Shanola Hampton heads the main cast, with Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta, and Karan Oberoi also featured.

The official description of the series states:

Every year in the United States, over 600,000 people go missing. A disproportionate number of these individuals are people of color, who often receive little attention or support. Gabi Mosely, a public relations specialist and Hampton alumna, along with her crisis management team, work tirelessly to ensure the missing always have someone advocating for them. However, Gabi harbors a shocking secret: she once imprisoned her childhood kidnapper, Sir, during a moment of grief. Now, Sir has managed to break free and is at large, making Gabi’s darkest secret her most significant threat.

Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sonay Hoffman, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, and Lindsay Dunn are the executive producers for this series. Hampton has a dual role as producer and star of the show. “Found” is produced by Berlanti Productions and Rock My Soul Productions, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.

Based on what I’ve learned, it seems that WBTV intends to offer their show to other broadcasting stations.

Today, it has been announced that the newest NBC series is now at risk of being axed, as NBCUniversal prepares for their upfront presentation in New York on May 12th. Similarly, other dramas such as “Suits LA” and “The Irrational,” along with comedies like “Night Court” and “Lopez vs. Lopez,” have also been given the axe.
