In this film inspired by a true event in Hong Kong, Donnie Yen assumes two roles: he works on cases during the day as a dedicated prosecutor, while at night he fights injustice as an upright citizen in a city plagued by corruption. Titled The Prosecutor, the movie revolves around a man wrongly accused of drug trafficking after being set up. Although he confesses to the crime, the seasoned former policeman handling his case remains steadfast in his belief of the man’s innocence and embarks on an undercover investigation, putting both his career and life on the line to expose the true criminal behind the deceit.
This film, titled The Prosecutor, features the talented actors Donnie Yen (known for Ip Man), Francis Ng (famous from Infernal Affairs II), and Kent Cheng (renowned for Why Me>?).
