Carrie Coon and Lily James Join Bella Ramsey and Odessa Young in Guy Nattiv’s Thriller ‘Harmonia’ as Bleecker Street Boards for U.S.

Actresses Carrie Coon from “The White Lotus” and Lily James of “Pam and Tommy” are set to collaborate with director Guy Nattiv in his forthcoming thriller titled “Harmonia”. They will be working alongside Bella Ramsey and Odessa Young on this project.

Bleecker Street, which distributed Nattiv’s “Golda” in 2023, has purchased the American distribution rights for the movie and intends to screen it in cinemas across the country in 2026.

Titled “Harmonia,” this 1980s-set film was co-written by Oscar-nominated director Nattiv (of the short film “Skin”) and Noa Berman-Herzberg. It’s loosely based on Nattiv’s grandmother’s harrowing tale of involvement with a sinister cult. The story revolves around Rita (Coon), who, struggling to heal from past traumas, crosses paths with a charismatic spiritual guide (James) by chance. Intrigued, she follows him into the secluded female commune called Harmonia, abandoning her life and family until her daughters, Ella (Ramsey), and Jo (Young), bravely embark on a perilous mission to save their mother. Once within the commune, they become increasingly entangled in the leader’s complex network of spiritual and psychological deception.

Julia Lebedev and Eddie Vaisman will produce the upcoming project for Sight Unseen. Jaime Ray Newman and Nattiv are producing for New Native Pictures, with Oren Moverman also involved. Leonid Lebedev will act as Executive Producer. Embankment Films has acquired international distribution rights. The deal was facilitated by CAA Media Finance and Range Select, working with Miranda King, Kent Sanderson, and Avy Eschenasy from Bleecker Street. Meanwhile, CAA and Range Media Partners represent the filmmakers individually. Production is set to start this summer.

Bleecker Street’s Kent Sanderson expressed joy at collaborating once more with their friend Guy on this deeply emotional film, following the achievement of ‘Golda.’ We firmly believe that he, along with his exceptional cast, will create an indelible cinematic journey for audiences nationwide next year.

Harmonia originates from the actual experiences of my grandmother – a woman whose silent fortitude and hidden suffering made a lasting impact on our family. For many years, her tale remained unspoken, but now, finally, I’m giving it a voice. I couldn’t have asked for more emotionally resonant partners in this endeavor than Carrie, Lily, Bella, and Odessa. Each of them infuses their characters with a profound, instinctive elegance, and their dedication to telling my story is incredibly touching.

Coon is managed by the United Talent Agency, Foundation Talent Management, and lawyer Peikoff Mahan; on the other hand, James is handled by Tavistock Wood Management, Independent Talent Group, and UTA as well.
