Halloween-Themed ‘Shaun the Sheep’ Movie in Works at Aardman With StudioCanal Launching Sales in Cannes

Aardman‘s woolly stop-motion star Shaun the Sheep is getting his third movie.

Work has begun on the animated film titled ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Creature of Mossy Bottom,’ replacing last year’s production ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.’ StudioCanal returns as a partner, handling global distribution at Cannes, while Sky is confirmed for U.K. distribution.

After the “Shaun the Sheep Movie” and “Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon,” the next exciting tale unfolds as the inhabitants of Mossy Bottom Farm eagerly anticipate Halloween. However, their excitement is dashed when the bumbling Farmer accidentally ruins their prized pumpkin field. In an attempt to remedy the situation, Shaun takes on the role of a mad scientist, but his efforts only seem to make things worse, ultimately resulting in a wild creature running loose in the forest.
